8 Haircare Products To Use After Baby

Hi Friends! Omg they weren’t playing when they said your hair can change after having a baby, not to mention the hair loss…. Yikes! You guys, my hair has always been curly with some frizz but it was manageable. These days it’s been curly with some extra volume that I did not ask for nor need. I have been on the hunt for products to help tame this new mane of mine without having to use a lot of heat since I already have a lot of hair loss.

Here’s what I’ve found that I’ve loved so far:

  • Olaplex – the olaplex system has done wonderful things for my hair. It’s been so soft and feels like new healthy shiny hair. I use the shampoo and conditioner every time I was my hair as well as the bond smoother every time my hair is wet. I use the N°3 repair mask once or twice a week.
  • Ouai – the volume spray and memory mist have always been my go-to’s. The volume spray I use on my roots because that’s where I have the most trouble, my hair has volume everywhere else except where I need it but this gets it done! The memory mist, there is not enough space on this blog for all the praise I have for this one product. It has literally been the only thing that’s held a curl after I’ve straightened my hair. It has also been a really great heat protector.
  • Color Wow – the dream coat helps to tame the beast I call frizz so good but the only downside is it needs heat to actually work. When I do use hot tools I make sure this is the product I grab before hand. The shine spray makes your hair look like you just walk out of the salon, it makes your hair so smooth and healthy looking. You for sure need to be careful how much of it you use and where you use it. It’s one of those products that can make you look like you just walked out of the gym real quick. Keep away from the roots and just do a light spray mid-shaft to ends or just ends. But sooo good!

All of these products can also be found on my shop my stuff page if you wanted to shop of my top favorites lately.

I’ll share the hot tools I have that I use on the rare occasion when I am going out or feel like doing something different. I love the Drybar line, its great for all hair types and it keeps my hair looking smooth and shiny. I will sat that it can be a bit of a splurge but I bought in stages or waited for one of those really good Sephora sales. I have had the blow dryer for since 2015 and I haven’t had a single issue with it, all the other tools I got at different times after using and loving the blow dryer.

What have you been using for hair products lately? Do you transition your hair products between seasons, for example: more texture sprays for summer and leave in conditioners in the fall and winter? Let me know if you have tried any of these products and if you have what did you think? I’d love to hear what you guys have been into and loving lately!
